ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Soheil – a passionate and experienced science and maths tutor based in Perth.
I hold a Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Western Australia (UWA), along with a Bachelor in Applied Physics and a Master’s in Atomic and Molecular Physics. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve taught and tutored hundreds of students across Australia and overseas – from primary school to high school and university levels.
I specialise in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Coding, and Astronomy, and tailor every session to suit each student’s level and learning style. Whether you’re preparing for ATAR exams, struggling with a tough uni course, or just want to build confidence in science and maths – I’m here to help.
I’m also proudly involved in UWA’s Physics Department Outreach Team, delivering science talks and engaging workshops to high school students and the general public (e.g., at SciTech). I hold a valid Working With Children (WWC) Check, and since 2019, my tutoring service has been recognised as one of the Most Popular Tutorial Activities in the region – based on visits, reviews, and community engagement.
